Our nurse practitioner is a nurse prescriber who provides a service as the first point of contact for patients with new problems. She also advises, supports and counsels patients on health and social matters relating to their health and wellbeing.
Our highly trained and qualified practice nurses work very closely with the doctors and are trained to do a wide range of procedures and tests. These include:

Please call reception for an appointment to have flu jab – these usually become available mid-to late September every year.
Anti-pneumonia jab In addition, if you are aged 65 or over or are in one of the ‘at risk’ groups outlined above you should have an anti-pneumonia jab. If you have not had an anti-pneumonia vaccination please ask the nurse about this.
